The B&W 67mm UV-415 (2B) UV-Blocking Filter is nearly colorless and blocks UV radiation up to the limit of visible light. This is a very strong UV filter that is especially useful in digital photography where sensors are particularly susceptible to “noise” in the UV spectrum.

The lightest B+W Neutral Density Filter attenuates the light by one f-stop (log density 0.3), which can be beneficial, for instance, for the correct exposure of high-speed films when the brightness of the subject is still too high for the fastest shutter speed and the smallest aperture. It is recommended especially as a complement to B+W Neutral Density Filter 102 for fine adjustments. The filter factor is 2x. This filter uses our standard B+W F-Pro filter mount made of brass. Compared to the earlier standard mount introduced in 2001, the F-Pro mount has become thinner. Now it can be used with wide angle lenses, including most 24mm focal lengths on a full frame body, without vignetting. Another advantage of the F-Pro mount is it’s modified retaining ring, which is no longer threaded in from the front, but holds the filter glass in place from the back. When removing a filter or lens hood that has been screwed on too tight to the filter, the retaining ring is not at risk of loosening.
The Panasonic VW-LF46N Filter Kit for 46mm Lens contains two very viable filters for shooting under many conditions.
Haze (UV) filters are wise investments. They help protect your valuable investment from dust, moisture and scratches, which can lead to costly repairs. If desired they can be left on the lens at all times for protection.
Haze filters provide additional benefits of correction for Ultraviolet(UV) light which can register on film and videotape as a bluish cast and can obscure distant details. Ultraviolet filters allow you to correct for the UV effect to varying degrees.
Neutral Density Filter
ND filters have several uses and offer the possibility to achieve otherwise unachievable results. They enable the shooter to adjust exposure without affecting color balance. ND filters appear gray and reduce the amount of light reaching the film. Neutral density filters are available in 1, 2, 3, or 4 stops to suit individual situations.
Determining which neutral density filter yields ideal results for any given lighting situation takes knowledge, experience and a collection of such filters. Speaking generally, the 2-stop value (ND 0.6) effectively compensates average situations.
Neutral Density Filters can be used to:
- enable slow shutter speeds to be used, especially with high speed films, to record movement in subjects such as waterfalls, clouds, or cars
- decrease depth of field by allowing wider apertures to be used, which helps separate subjects from their background
- decrease the effective ISO of high speed film (above ISO 400) and allow it to be used outdoors in bright situations
- allow cine and video cameras (which have fixed shutter speeds) to film subjects such as snow, sand or other bright scenes which could cause overexposure

Fujifilm X-pro 1 Digital Camera (body Only) : FUJIFILM have developed a new CMOS sensor called the X-Trans CMOS. The X-Trans CMOS sensor is capable of delivering resolution that is parallel, if not superior, to a full frame sensor. The new color filter array paves the way for an ideal sensor that does not need an optical low-pass filter. While the optical low-pass filter is indispensable for the reduction of moir? and false color generated by conventional sensors, it also degrades resolution. FUJIFILM has developed a new color filter array that is inspired by the random arrangement of fine film grain, removing the need for an optical low-pass filter to solve moir? and false color issues. In the array, RGB pixels are arranged in 6×6 pixel sets with high aperiodicity (randomness). Increasing the degree of randomness eliminates the fundamental cause of moir? and false colors ? a problem that occurs in conventional arrays when shooting stripes and other repeating patterns. The presence of an R, G and B pixel in every vertical and horizontal pixel series minimizes the generation of false colors and delivers higher color reproduction. As a result of using a film-inspired array, a more powerful EXR Processor Pro is required to process the image signal data. This development will maximize the full potential of the X-Trans CMOS sensor and deliver high speed and high precision image processing. Prime FUJINON XF lenses deliver the highest image quality Fujinon lenses have long been associated with delivering high quality images, with optics used for both broadcast TV and medium format cameras. Now the expertise borne out of this enviable optical heritage has been put into lenses for the FUJIFILM X-Pro1. Three compact XF Fujinon fast aperture prime lenses will be sold separately.
Bower Digital Multi-Coated 72mm UV Filter Professional Digital High Definition (Pro DHD) The Bower PRO DHD Filter is high quality and digital multi-coated filter. It will select which light rays will enter your camera lens. The PRO DHD Filter will enable colors to become more saturated and appear clearer with better contrast. The UV filter does not affect the overall color balance of shot. product made in Japan. (Bower lifetime warranty)
This most delicate reddish-yellow conversion filter absorbs violet and some blue plus a minimal amount of green, but it passes yellow and red undiminished; the color of the light becomes ?warmer? by 15 Mired. That is mostly the optimal amount for correcting the light blue cast in the shadows under a blue sky. It also absorbs UV radiation and hence it provides better sharpness. With color films and/or developing processes that generally yield results that are too ?cool,” this filter can be kept on the lens at all times. With this filter, skin tones in particular will be rendered more naturally. Its filter factor is approximately 1:1. MRC (Multi-Resistant Coating) by B+W is not only an extraordinarily effective multiple layer coating, it is also harder than glass, so that it protects filters from scratches (for instance when cleaning the filters), and it is also water and dirt repellent, thus facilitating filter maintenance. This filter uses our standard B+W F-Pro filter mount made of brass. Compared to the earlier standard mount introduced in 2001, the F-Pro mount has become thinner. The Panasonic DMW-LND69 69mm 8x Neutral Density Filter is a solid neutral density filter providing an exposure reduction of about 3 stops. This 8x density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.

Neutral Density filters enable the shooter to adjust exposure without affecting color balance. ND filters appear gray and reduce the amount of light reaching the film. Neutral density filters are available in 1, 2, 3, or 4 stops to suit individual situations. Neutral Density filters permit you to create unique effects. When using high speed film in bright light, an ND filter will allow you to blur motion such as speeding cars or moving water. This permits adjustments in aperture and exposure that would normally not be possible without the filter.
