Description

Description

B+w 43mm Kaeseman Circular Polarizing Multi-resistant Coating (mrc) Filter-45609 : The B&W 43mm Kaeseman Circular Polarizing Multi-Resistant Coating (MRC) Filter is constructed from select polarizer foils and especially prepared optical glass. Kaeseman (“encased”) filters are completely edge-sealed for maximum durability under extreme climatic conditions. Polarizing filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. They can remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass and also saturate colors providing better contrast. The effect can be seen through the viewfinder and varied by rotating the filter. The filter factor varies according to how the filter is rotated and its orientation to the sun.

B+W 67mm Neutral Density (ND) 0.3-2x #101 Filter

The lightest B+W Neutral Density Filter attenuates the light by one f-stop (log density 0.3), which can be beneficial, for instance, for the correct exposure of high-speed films when the brightness of the subject is still too high for the fastest shutter speed and the smallest aperture. It is recommended especially as a complement to B+W Neutral Density Filter 102 for fine adjustments. The filter factor is 2x. This filter uses our standard B+W F-Pro filter mount made of brass. Compared to the earlier standard mount introduced in 2001, the F-Pro mount has become thinner. Now it can be used with wide angle lenses, including most 24mm focal lengths on a full frame body, without vignetting. Another advantage of the F-Pro mount is it’s modified retaining ring, which is no longer threaded in from the front, but holds the filter glass in place from the back. When removing a filter or lens hood that has been screwed on too tight to the filter, the retaining ring is not at risk of loosening.

Panasonic DMW-LPL72 Polarizer Filter

The Panasonic DMW-LPL72 72mm Circular Polarizer Filter helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. A polarizer is able to absorb much of this polarized light and, in turn, increase the saturation of skies and foliage, cut through distant haze, and minimize reflections in glass and on water.

A circular polarizer differs from a linear polarizer in that it integrates a quarter wave plane within a linear polarizing filter. The addition of this helps to circularly polarize reflected light, which enables your camera’s autofocus and auto-exposure mechanisms to function properly.

This filter features a slim filter ring design for reducing vignetting with wide angle lenses.

Product Highlights:

  • Helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface.
  • Clears up haze in distant landscapes and provides more saturated, vivid colors.
  • Strongest effect when used at a 90° from the sun.
  • Circular polarizers are ideal for use with digital cameras and autofocus lenses where a linear polarizer will often disrupt auto exposure and focus features.
  • Slim design helps to reduce vignetting when used in conjunction with wide angle lenses.

B+W 52mm KR-1.5 MRC Skylight Filter

This most delicate reddish-yellow conversion filter absorbs violet and some blue plus a minimal amount of green, but it passes yellow and red undiminished; the color of the light becomes ?warmer? by 15 Mired. That is mostly the optimal amount for correcting the light blue cast in the shadows under a blue sky. It also absorbs UV radiation and hence it provides better sharpness. With color films and/or developing processes that generally yield results that are too ?cool,” this filter can be kept on the lens at all times. With this filter, skin tones in particular will be rendered more naturally. Its filter factor is approximately 1:1. MRC (Multi-Resistant Coating) by B+W is not only an extraordinarily effective multiple layer coating, it is also harder than glass, so that it protects filters from scratches (for instance when cleaning the filters), and it is also water and dirt repellent, thus facilitating filter maintenance. This filter uses our standard B+W F-Pro filter mount made of brass. Compared to the earlier standard mount introduced in 2001, the F-Pro mount has become thinner. B+W 58mm #103 Neutral Density (ND) 0.9 Filter-73063

Neutral Density filters enable the shooter to adjust exposure without affecting color balance. ND filters appear gray and reduce the amount of light reaching the film. Neutral density filters are available in 1, 2, 3, or 4 stops to suit individual situations. Neutral Density filters permit you to create unique effects. When using high speed film in bright light, an ND filter will allow you to blur motion such as speeding cars or moving water. This permits adjustments in aperture and exposure that would normally not be possible without the filter.
